To all my clients and friends,
It is with a very heavy heart that I must announce that as of 24th March 2020 I will be closing the salon, for now, until the end of April. Further communications will be made if necessary extension to this period of closure is needed.
Those of you that know me well, know how much I love being a beauty therapist and how hard I’ve worked to give you, my lovely clients, the best treatments possible.
Can you believe that it’s my 20th year of having the salon?! Because of this and wanting to keep you safe as well, as my own family, I have no choice but to temporarily close. Hopefully this will allow me some time to plan the 20th year anniversary celebration, but I will miss being at work and seeing you all.
I will be back to open the doors of The Gentle Touch again and to continue giving you the best service possible. I think we’re all going to need some TLC on the other side of this awfulness.
I will endeavour to contact as many of you as possible who have future appointments, impending lockdown allowing. I will also keep my salon phone diverted to my mobile if you wish to contact me to discuss an appointment.
In the meantime, please stay safe, look after each other and try not to mess about with your eyebrows too much!
Here are a few beauty tips & tricks for you to try whilst you isolate:
- Drink 3 litres of water a day – hydration is healthy!
- Moisturise daily
- Use the time to have a relaxing face mask
- As well as face masks, hair masks can also be a great way to home condition
- Use an orange to exfoliate your knees and elbows (I know this may sound strange but trust me… it works!)
- Remember sun cream if you’re able to spend more time in the garden
Isolation and social distancing does not mean you can’t keep up your beauty routines for you – they just may need to be adapted.
As not just clients, but as a community, it would be great to hear your home beauty tip & tricks also, please comment below or send us a message to one of our social media accounts: Facebook or Instagram. Pictures encouraged!
We hope to see you soon!
